Fall is an amazing time of year in the Finger Lakes with the changing season bringing migratory birds and hunting opportunities for small game and fowl.
Seneca County 4-H Shooting Sports program will be conducting a hunting and wildlife program on Sunday, September 25th from 2PM-5PM at Kuneytown Sportsmen Club in Seneca County.
Youth ages 10 years and older will learn about wildlife habitat, hunting tips, and how this all plays a role in wildlife conservation. Youth will be also be instructed on how to prepare wild game from the creator of the Wild Harvest Table program (www.wildharvesttable.com) and will receive a wild game dinner and recipe booklet.
The fee for the program is $5 for current 4-H members, and $20 for non-4-H members (which includes handouts and a 1 year membership in 4-H). Pre-registration is required.
