What is the hardest part of losing weight? Consistency and accountability, says Sue Petersen, Seneca County CCE's nutrition educator. If you have struggled with those issues join CCE Seneca's Healthy Weight Loss Made Easy Group that focuses on the healthy way to lose weight. Sue Petersen, clinical nutritionist and CCE nutrition educator, will lead a 4-week group discussion on how to easily incorporate lifestyle changes in order to achieve your health goals.
Mark your calendar for the following dates: April 12th, 19th, 26th and May 3rd 2017. Sue and group members will be meeting at the Seneca County CCE office in Waterloo, Wednesday evenings for 4 weeks from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, starting April 12th. The cost will be $20.00 total which works out to $5.00 per week.
Each week we will focus on a new topic, such as best way to lose weight, what does healthy eating mean, and how to create a health plan. A healthy snack will be provided as well as worksheets & handouts.
We will focus on nutrition, accountability, goal setting, serving sizes and consistency while achieving our goals. This group is for everyone. In addition, we understand everyone is on their own journey so this is a no judgment zone.
Please contact the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County office if you have any special needs.
