Register to present a workshop at Today's Leaders
Workshops will be offered on Friday, August 7, 2020 and will be 30 minutes long. We may ask you to offer the workshop more than once, depending on the number of workshops submitted.
-Please enter the following information for the individual or the team that will be presenting a workshop.
When developing your workshop, please keep in mind the following criteria:
-Highly interactive-no lecturing
-Should address: what does civic engagement mean to you
-Try to wrap up with a call to action
- Open-mindedness is key: Teens should feel open to share anything they want to without judgement
-Creative
-Appropriate for teens and adults to attend
-Set group norms and expectations at beginning of the session
-Offer opportunities for skill building and/or trying new things
-Can be led by teens, adults, or a combination of the two, but teen involvement in planning and presenting the workshop is encouraged

1:00-1:10: Welcome and intro activity

1:25-1:40 Lightening talks
1:40-2:15-workshop #1 (includes time for transition—workshop content is 30 mins only)
2:15-2:50-workshop #2 (includes time for transition—workshop is only 30 min)
