Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension is onto their second class of the food preservation series with learning how to make strawberry jam, jelly, roll-ups and how to dehydrate and freeze strawberries too. Offered on Wednesday, June 19th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Ovid Fire Department. Cost is $15 per person.
Participants in this workshop will learn how to:
• make strawberry jam and jelly
• dehydrate strawberries and make fruit roll-ups
• freeze strawberries
Participants will receive educational materials, taste samples, and leave with some strawberry product to take home.
