North Central District 4-H Standardbred Day
When: August 12th, 2022
9am - Meet at SUNY Morrisville Equine Rehab Center for Tour
11am - Lunch on your own
12:30-12:45pm - Arrive at the track at Vernon Downs
1pm - Tour of Track and Backside, Presentations from Driver/Trainer
3pm - Farm Tour - Crawford Farms
5pm - Horse Industry Presentation & Activity with AITC Educator Mikaela
5:30pm - Dinner at the Track at Vernon Downs - Food Truck on Premise
6pm - An evening of racing with a race featuring a 4-H trophy presentation to winning driver and trainer!
Cost: $10 for 4-H members, $15 for Non-member youth, and 1 free chaperone per youth. Payment is due before the day of the event to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County via cash or check.
If you are registering multiple youth, please make sure to fill out a registration for EACH child.
