Spring Clinic

The 2023 Oswego County 4-H Spring Clinic will be held June 3rd at the Harmony Riders Association. The education event will run from 9:15am to 3:45pm.  The day will be filled with riding classes on trail, ranch, games, english and a community service. Whether you are a beginner rider or an experienced one, there will be classes for you to help you improve your own skills. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn and expand your horse knowledge.

All registrations with money are due to the office by May 25th and will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. REGISTER EARLY! Horses can be trailered at the event or placed in one of Harmony’s stalls. The cost for the weekend is $20.00 per 4-H member. Chaperones do not pay.  Each youth needs to have a designated chaperone on site at all times during the day. More details, risk forms, permission slips and workshop sign-ups will be sent out following registration. If you have questions, please call the office at 315-963-7286 ext. 400.

All horses must have a negative coggins and rabies certificate available on site. Horses must be vaccinated for rabies at least 14 days before the clinic (no later than May 18th). Your current ownership papers must be on file at the 4-H office. Current rider evaluations are also required. If you do not have a current evaluation on file at the 4-H office, or are changing your riding level or horse, evaluations will be done Saturday morning before the event.

If you have any questions before the event please contact Linda Brosch via email at lcr23@cornell.edu or via phone at (315) 963 - 7286 ext. 400.
