Space Day is full. Thank you for your enthusastic interest!
About Space Day
The North Country STEM Collaborative, comprised of the North Country Planetarium at SUNY Plattsburgh, Cornell Cooperative Extension Clinton County, and the Champlain Valley Transportation Museum, is hosting a free Space Day for Clinton County youth in grades 4-9. Registration is first-come, first-serve for 30 young people.
The day's hands-on activities will challenge youth to work in teams to build a model of the solar system, build rockets, and star gaze without getting lost in space! The evening will include star gazing led by the Northcountry Planetarium (weather permitting). If it is a cloudy night, the program will end at 6:15 PM. Decisions about ending early will be made at the beginning of the event.
Youth signing up for this program should complete the registration form by clicking "Register" and return this Permission Form to CCE Clinton County, 6064 St Rt 22 Plattburgh NY 12901 before the event.
