Landowners, especially farmland owners and farm operators, are being approached to lease farmland to a solar energy company. Before signing on the dotted line, everyone is encouraged to understand how the process actually works. Most often, once a contract is signed, it and the terms it contains are binding.
Join Seneca County CCE for Navigating Solar Leases and the Solar Development Process, a virtual meeting for farmers and rural landowners to answer questions about solar leasing. The program will feature several live, virtual presentations by industry experts to help participants navigate the solar development process, make informed decisions, and negotiate solar lease agreements.
