Sheep and Wool Day at Flint and Steel Farm

On Saturday, September 22nd, Flint and Steel Farm is hosting Sheep and Wool day. Learn about maintaining fleece quality in sheep, evaluating/grading fleece, and marketing fleece. Also featured at the event will be demonstrations on sheering, spinning, felting, and dyeing with natural dyes.
Featured presenters include Angela Ingraham (Flint and Steel Farms), Nancy Glazier (NWNY Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops), Tonya Pettit, Becca Jensen, The Parshall Family (Woolen Bee Farm), and Celeste Gregor.
