Pie Making 101 POSTPONED

This year during the Erie County Fair Livestock Market Auctions we will be selling pies made by 4-H members to benefit the 4-H program.

Do you want to learn how to make a pie?  Perhaps brush up on pie making skills?  Want to exhibit a fresh pie at the fair?  Join us as we learn together!

You must be a currently enrolled Erie County 4-H Member.  You may not have participated in Pie Making to benefit the 4-H Program for the previous years.

This program will be a 2 step opportunity:

Step 1—Attend an educational workshop on April 4 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm at the Marilla Methodist Church.  You will learn about the history of pie making, food safety, fruit preparation, crust preparation and the “how to” by making your own personal mini pie.  This workshop will be presented by Christine Basile.

Step 2—Participate in the actual pie making.  You will make a pie for the auction at Daily's in East Aurora in July - date to be determined.

Please note: 1 parent/adult must accompany youth during both sessions
