Come learn about recent developments in integrated pest management options available to fruit growers for combating pests and diseases in apples and other tree fruits.

Some topics we will cover include:

·         Monitoring for key pests and diseases in the orchard

·         Weather stations and pest modeling

·         Variety and rootstock selection for minimizing damage

·         Bioinsecticides and mating disruption for key orchard pests

·         Rapid fire blight diagnostic tools for the orchard

 

Open to the public, but pre-registration is requested. Cost: $5.00. Light refreshments provided.
