CALLING ALL SERVICE PROVIDERS WHO WORK WITH VETERANS IN NYS!
Goals for this one-day conference are to :
· conduct a needs assessment and resource mapping exercise in order to determine what services ARE being provided and where there is room for improvement AND
· Encourage and /or enhance regional service provider networks with additional resources
We’ll hear from service providers across the state who are working with veterans in a variety of capacities. We’ll plot the road to farming using some veteran archetypes and then hear from some veteran farmers who have utilized local supports on their farming journey and discuss policy and/or programmatic changes that may need to be implemented. We’ll end with a discussion on potential funds available to support building regional veteran support networks across NYS.
Join us for the after hours poster session, finger foods and local beverages sponsored by TASTE NY.
