Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Broome County Presents:
Nut Trees for the Northeast

This presentation will cover the pros and cons of different nut trees suitable for the Northeastern U.S. We will look at the varieties, propagation, cultivation, harvesting, uses, and marketing of different tree crops. The focus will be on chestnuts and hazelnuts. Akiva Silver of Twisted Tree Farm in Spencer, NY maintains commercial nut orchards, runs a tree nursery, is an author and a founding member of the New York Tree Crops Alliance.  

This will be a hybrid presentation, both in-person and over Zoom.  In-person seating is limited so please pre-register by March 21st. Once in-person registration is closed we will post the link for attending the virtual presentation.
