CCE Nassau Farmers Market Master Gardener Table at Eisenhower Park:
The CCE Nassau Farmers Market is a great way for Master Gardeners to share their knowledge with members of the Nassau County community! We are requesting 1-3 volunteers on Saturdays from July 8th to October 28th to be at our Master Gardener Table! MGs will speak with market visitors about what we do, direct them towards gardening resources, answer questions, and all-around share their passion for gardening with members of the community. It is located at Eisenhower Park, Parking field 8, near the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County Headquarters at the intersection of Merrick and Stewart Avenues.
All materials will be provided and set up prior to the market for a general information booth. However, if you would like to focus on a specific gardening topic, or feature an activity, please speak with Jennifer Hochuli. The table is what you make it to be!
Dates: 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26, 9/2, 9/16, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28
