CCE Nassau Farmers Market Support
Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm from July 9 – October 29

The 2022 CCE Nassau Farmers Market will take place at Eisenhower Park on Saturday mornings from 9am-12noon, from July 9th through the end of October. Our goal for this market is to showcase the broad spectrum of locally-made goods that Long Island businesses have to offer. We are looking for 2-3 MGVs each week to assist with the farm stand and 4-H activities, interact with customers, and share their gardening knowledge with members of the community. If you have questions, please email Jennifer at jh2298@cornell.edu.  2-3 MGVs requested

4-H Entrepreneurial Farm Stand Support
Fridays from July 15 – October 28

8-11am, 2:30-4:30pm, or 4:30-6:30pm

Extended Days with Nutrition’s Mobile Market team:
July 22, August 19, September 23
12-3pm

The 4-H Farm Stand, which will take place on Friday evenings in the summer from 3-6pm, will provide members of the community with fresh produce sourced from the DPF 4-H Camp, and other Long Island farms. The goal of this new-and-improved farm stand is to give high school students the opportunity to learn and gain experience in a number of topics, such as entrepreneurship and marketing, as well as agriculture and nutrition. This is an invaluable opportunity for Master Gardeners to impart knowledge and skills upon local youth. Help is needed on Friday mornings to assist students with preparing herbs, flower bouquets, and produce for sale, as well as in the evening to assist with customers. To inquire about assisting with the farm stand and mentoring the students, please email Jennifer at jh2298@cornell.edu.  2-3 MGVs requested per shift

An email confirmation will be sent to you after registering.  Please keep that email for your records.
