Looking to save money with the rising price of meat? Do you enjoy fork tender meat that can be ready for a meal in just minutes? Then learn how to can meat!
Come learn the important science behind safely canning meat. There will be taste testing of recipes using canned meats and participants will learn firsthand how to safely preserve meat at home. A Master Food Preserver from Cornell Cooperative Extension will be leading the workshop.
Cost: $15/person (We ask that you pay ahead in order to cover cost of supplies). Scholarships are available.
