Thank-you for your interest in evaluating 4-H Exhibits. 4-H exhibit evaluations will be held on Monday, July 23rd from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Orientation for Evaluators will take place promptly at 2 pm.
4-H members will present an item to the evaluator from the projects they have been working on during the current year. Through this one-on-one evaluation process, a 4-H’er learns to think critically and objectively, improve communication skills, gain appreciation of quality workmanship and discover and develop talents. Evaluators provide not only positive and encouraging feedback on projects, but by discussing the work with the member, are able to make suggestions for continued mastery of the skills needed to improvement the project. The evaluation process is a very important and valuable learning experience, both for our 4-H members and the adults who are evaluating the exhibits. Please register to be considered for an evaluator position. A 4-H staff member will follow-up with you with more information.
