Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension is offering a canning and food preservation workshop covering the basics of canning and preserving local vegetables, fruits, and meats.
Come learn how to preserve fresh produce and the science of safely canning food. We will make dilly beans and can tomatoes at this hands-on workshop lead by certified Master Food Preservers from Cornell Cooperative Extension. The methods of hot water bath and pressure canning will be demonstrated.
The registration fee is $10 which includes hands on demonstration, educational hand-outs, and taste samples.
