Beef Quality Assurance is a nationwide certification program to help ensure a safe, wholesome and quality beef product for consumers. Topics covered include cattle nutrition, handling, and vaccine protocols. The workshop will cover requirements 1-3 below. To be certified, producers must: 1. Attend a BQA classroom training 2. Attend a chute-side training. 3. Sign a BQA Contract. The fee for this workshop is:
$15.00/person or $25.00/farm (unlimited people). BQA recertification is required every three years. Attendance at this workshop will recertify you for another 3 years.
