Ask the Experts: Let's Write Your Business Plan!

THIS SERIES HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF REGISTRATIONS

Join us for an "Ask the Experts" series focused on the components of a agricultural business plan! This series will take place on Tuesday evenings, March 10th-April 7th (not March 31st), at 5:30pm in the Agricultural Development Center at CCE Broome County.

Each week we will focus on a different section of the business plan and bring in featured speakers on those issues.

Schedule of "Ask the Experts":

March 10th: Evaluation of Various Business Structures, Pros & Cons with Coughlin & Gerhart, & How to Write Your Business Plan with the Small Business Development Center at Binghamton University

March 17: Basic Farm Accounting & How To Read Financials

March 24th: Finding Your Target Customer & Branding

March 31st: Off

April 7th: Community Resources, etc...

We will host our speaker and then have an opportunity to start implementing the knowledge learned on specific sections of the business plan. For example, we might hear a lawyer talk about various business structure options and then work through what will work best for your farm or agribusiness operation. Those who complete the series will exit with the resources, skills and knowledge to complete the skeleton of a business plan that will be presented at the first session.

The cost to attend is $125 for all 4 sessions. This includes 2 registrations, light dinner each session, and a padfolio to hold the business plan as well as any other resources collected during the series. Veterans may attend for FREE!
