We invite you to attend a hands-on programs on equine and dairy welfare. This two session program is a follow up to overview presentations at the Hampton Inn in Cazenovia on October 17. This session will focus on using body condition scoring to assess the overall welfare of an animal and will also include information on basic nutrition, veterinary care, and maintenance of the animals. Support for this program is provided by the Professional Dairy Producers Foundation.
Please join us at the SUNY Morrisville Equine Rehabilitation Center at 10AM for hands on training on body condition scoring for equine, followed by lunch and moving to the SUNY Morrisville Dairy Facility for more hands on training with cattle. The program should wrap up around 3PM. Looking forward to seeing you then!
