4-H Camp Scholarships - Army Youth

We have limited full camp scholarships for Army connected youth (active duty, reserves, national guard) to attend one of four 4-H overnight camps in New York State! Youth will choose which camp they would like to attend. Prior to signing up for a scholarship, please look into the 4 camps that are available:

4-H Camp Wabasso in Jefferson County (open to ages 8-16) – youth can attend weeks 2, 3, or 4

4-H Camp Owahta in Cortland County (open to ages 8-16) – youth can attend sessions 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5

4-H Camp Shankitunk in Delaware County (open to ages 8-16) – youth can attend weeks 1, 2, 3, or 4

Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp on Long Island (open to ages 7-12) – youth can attend the June 26 – 28 Mini-Stay session or the June 29 – July 1 Mini-Stay session.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. After completing this registration form, Lisa Vaughn will follow up by email with information about the camp you chose, and she will include a contact from the camp you chose to ensure registration for the camp is as easy as possible. You will have 72 hours from the time of her follow up to complete that camp's registration and pay the $100 refundable deposit to be eligible for the camp scholarship. After this 72-hour window,  your spot will go to the next child in line. The $100 deposit will be refunded after your child attends their session at camp.

If the registration if full please contact Lisa (lgv6@cornell.edu) to be put on a wait list. If your camps registration is full, email the contact you have for the camp you chose with your campers name, and camp of their choice, to be put on the waiting list.
