Trumansburg/Ulysses Youth Employment Program

Trumansburg/Ulysses Youth Services summer Youth Employment Program (YEP) program seeks to teach job-readiness skills and provide paid employment to first-time job seekers who are selected to participate. The primary goal of YEP is to offer positive, paid work situations for students who wish to earn an income and gain marketable skills. Jobs are located within the Town of Ulysses, the Village of Trumansburg and surrounding areas such as Ithaca. In the past, placements have been at Tburg Rec Camp, Taughannock State Park, Cayuga Nature Center, Ithaca Children's Garden and many more. There are a limited amount of placements for the YEP; filling out a job application does not guarantee employment.

COVID-19: Trumansburg/Ulysses Youth Employment Program is accepting applications and will conduct virtual interviews. This ensures that the program will be ready to run when/if restrictions are lifted. However, job placements (hiring) and in person work will not begin until the easing of federal/state/local restrictions and Youth Service Commission/local business approval.
