About the Hike Leaders:

Jeff Solomon: Jeff Solomon is an avid nature lover and hiker who has hiked extensively in Harriman State Park. As a former middle school teacher and director of nature and pioneering programs at various summer camps, Jeff has a great deal of experience working in an educational and recreational capacity with youth and has led countless nature hikes. Jeff is also the founder of the National Camp Association, which is a children's summer camp organization.

Ann BarryAnn Barry is a Master Gardener Volunteer and a lifetime hiker. One of her passions is the invasive plants that are aggressive “bullies” that can take over large areas of land and forests and crowd out the desirable native plants as well as crops.
