How to Value Your Business, Plan for the Future

Thursday evenings, April 7th-April 28th from 5:30-7:00 PM

This four-week series for livestock-based businesses will be held through Zoom. A team of Cornell Cooperative Extension Educators and guest presenters will provide tools to assess your existing meat, fiber or other value-added processing business and assistance in understanding options for business expansion or transfer.

Session One: Valuation of assets, customer base
Session Two: Understanding Cash Flow, Marketing and Customer Communications
Session Three: Benefit of an exit strategy, identification of a successor, working with professionals
Session Four: Financial Planning for the future, asset transfer checklist

Pre-registration is required, and the Zoom link will be sent upon receipt of payment. The fee is $100 per business, multiple staff from your business may participate in the classes.
