How to Value Your Business, Plan for the Future

Tuesday evenings, April 4th, 11th, and 18th from 6:30-7:30 PM

This three-week series for livestock-based businesses will be held through Zoom. A team of Cornell Cooperative Extension Educators and guest presenters will provide tools to assess your existing meat, fiber or other value-added processing business and assistance in understanding options for business expansion or transfer.

Session One: Building a business plan to include an exit strategies and succession plan. Identification of a successor & working with professionals to build your team..
Session Two: Financial Planning for the Future, Valuation of Assets. Having access to up-to-date financial statements, analyzing current and future income and expenses to build a plan..
Session Three: Marketing, Customer Communications, Value of Customer Base. Is your business salable? Ideas & resources to market your business.

Pre-registration is required, and the Zoom link will be sent upon receipt of payment. The fee is $100 per business, multiple staff from your business may participate in the classes.
