Sparks - Start a Sketchbook (Drawing Series)

Oswego County 4-H will be offering a short term Sparks Club focused on the basics of drawing. Sessions will be held on Tuesday nights from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension Office in Mexico.
Create a sketchbook and learn the foundations of drawing at Sparks - Start a Sketchbook (Drawing Series) 4-H Club. This four-session club will explore contour drawing, shading, and texture after creating a sketchbook made from recycled items. Bring an empty cereal box to the first session to make your sketchbook.
April 9th: Create Your Sketchbook April 16th: Contour & Continuous Line Drawings April 23rd: Value & Ways to Shade April 30th: Essence of Animals (Texture)
This series is open to youth in third grade or older. There is no program fee for enrolled Oswego County 4-H Members. Youth not enrolled in Oswego County 4-H will pay a $15 registration fee. Registration is limited to eight youth. Registration closes on Sunday, April 7th. An adult must attend the first session on April 9th, if the youth is not currently enrolled in the Oswego County 4-H Program.
