Thank you for your willingness to volunteer to present a workshop at our 2019 State Teen Action Representative Retreat (STARR).
Overview: STARR participants will take part in a total of 3 workshops, 1 long and 2 short. The long workshop is broken up into 2 sessions. Long workshops are a total of 3 hours long broken up into 2, 1.5 hour sessions for the same audience. Short workshops are 1 hour long and are offered twice for different audiences. All workshops will take place:
- on Saturday, April 6th
- between the hours of 9 am and 4:30 pm.
- at the NYS Fairgrounds
- at the 4-H Youth Building
We want to make sure that the workshops offered are interesting, hands-on, fun, and engaging for both teens and adults. Also, let's try to make sure that the topics of our workshops are connected with Cornell University and with the four NYS 4-H pillars, which are: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Applied Mathematics), Citizenship & Civic Engagement, Healthy Living, and Agriculture and Sustainable Food Systems.
While workshop facilitators need to complete this form you can continue to remain in contact with the planning committee member who invited you to present a workshop.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Rachel Williams at rrw33@cornell.edu.
