The Region 3 Horse Bonanza event will be held on June 5th at the Boonville-Oneida County Fair Grounds, Boonville, NY in the Joe Griffo Cattle Barn.
If the weather permits please bring camp chairs and make yourself comfortable outside while waiting for your kids to finish the contests.
Check in will begin at 9:00am with the Horse Bowl Contest first and Hippology following.
Horse Bowl: Teams will be put together as long as we have enough youth to have more than 2 teams in each division, otherwise the contest will consist of only open questions and be judged individually.
Hippology: There will be no teams, team problem or team placings. Individual participants will answer questions in the following areas: Written Test, Horse Judging Classes, and Stations.
COVID-19 Guidelines will be followed included social distancing and masks wearing. Please bring your own mask and hand sanitizer but extra masks and sanitizer will be available for those who need it.
All Youth Participants Should Bring:
A clipboard and pens for personal use
Mask(s) and Hand Sanitizer or Wipes
Snacks and Drinks for personal use
