The NYS DEC has a long history of providing to the public pheasant chicks to be raised and released in the wild to help meet the demand for pheasant hunting opportunities. The Day Old Pheasant Chick program offers free pheasant chicks, and is a great way to get involved with wildlife and the outdoors, while learning the responsibility that comes with raising animals. Join us on Wednesday, February 22, 6:00pm-7:30pm in room 120, Human Services Complex, Montour Falls, NY to learn about this program.
