What happens to plants in the winter? Find out during a guided nature hike at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center on Sunday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m. After a brief indoor presentation, an environmental educator will lead a snowshoe hike through the woods to explore the topic first-hand.
Snowshoes will be available. Please be sure to dress warmly and in layers. Also outdoor footwear that can be strapped into a snowshoe should be worn -- sneakers and fashion boots with heels do not fit into the straps and will make walking difficult.
The program fee is only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of 3 are free. Payment will be collected at the door in the form of cash or check only.
These programs are designed for families; however, individuals may attend. We ask that all safety measures consistent with New York State’s implementation of the most recent CDC COVID-19 guidance are followed. Bring your mask and your love for fun & learning!
