Outdoor Cookery| 4-H Family Fun Online Project

Outdoor Cookery | 4-H Family Fun Online Project

Especially created as and intergenerational project (for youth and caring adults).  Can be used by youth groups or classrooms.  All families welcome (no need to be or have been a prior 4-H participant).  Adults should register once per family.  Adult supervision required for activities and around campfire.

Cost: $10 - Includes a 4-H Outdoor Cooking guide that will be mailed to you.

The Outdoor Cooking project will give you and your family a chance to experiment with outdoor cooking be it while camping or in your backyard - way beyond s'mores.  No prior experience needed, just follow the directions, enjoy making food, and have some discussion with your friends and family to learn from those around you!

As with other projects in the 4-H Family Fun Online Project series - the idea is to:

  • do things together
  • talk with friends, family, and neighbors to learn from one another
  • explore the natural world

The project is an online learning experience.  You are encouraged to share with the online learning platform, but some have found watching the videos and doing the activities is all that they can commit to...that is okay.  All are welcome.
