October 24 Explorers Nature Hike

Young (and Adult!) Explorers Nature Hike

Discover nature, make new friends, and have fun!

On these exploratory hikes, we will be looking at various forms of life in the forest, from plants and trees to birds and bugs. We will learn about the delicate ecosystem in which the forest exists and how various life forms interact and depend on each other for their survival.

Where: Harriman State Park. We will meet at CCE Rockland (10 Patriot Hills Drive, Stony Point, NY) at 8:15am, then caravan to the trailhead.
When: Sunday, October 24, 8:30am - 11:00am
Who: Youth Hike: Youth ages 8-13; Adult Hike: Any age
Note: The youth and adult hikes are simultaneous, separate hikes - we ask for registration per family, but youth do not have to register with adults; adults do not have to register with youth.

Cost: $10 per family (per family of 5 - non-refundable). Please note that payment must be received by Thursday, October 21, to participate in the hike.

COVID-19 Precautions: To protect participants, we will be following all statewide guidelines identified by NY Forward. A full list of guidelines will be provided to all participants prior to the hike.
