Please register for a date and time as soon as possible. You do not need to know the topic when you sign up. Just indicate TBD if you haven't decided.
All youth will have the opportunity to identify specific skills they are working on that they would like the judges to pay extra attention too. This is not required, however we do encourage youth to think about what skills they are trying to improve to become a more effective speaker. For example, youth may have identified the need to increase eye contact with the audience, speak louder or with more enthusiasm, or maintain a more relaxed and confident posture. There is no right answer, just the opportunity to reflect on learning how to become a good public speaker. I encourage you to review the rubrics for other possible skills.
