On April 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County will be holding an Inherent Risk Workshop to help farms understand the new legislation. The presenter for the evening with be Karin Bump from Cooperative Extension of Madison County. This legislation now brings New York’s inherent risk law in line with nearly every other state in the country. If your farm has visitor or does Agricultural tourism including u-pick Christmas trees, apples and berries, hiking, farm and winery tours and equine therapy, then this workshop is for you.
