Hydroponic Indoor Gardening

CCE Wyoming is hosting a workshop to help you get started with a simple and inexpensive do-it-yourself hydroponic setup. We will use some readily available materials to demonstrate a deep water culture system. Demonstration to include constructing a system that works for you and a Q & A on an operational hydroponic system, currently growing micro tomatoes, herbs and greens.

This session will be at the beginner level and will cover:

• Materials needed

• Light and heat requirements

• pH and importance for plant growth

• Adjusting pH

• Basic nutrient requirements and creating a nutrient solution

• Easy to grow plants

• Starting your seeds

• Troubleshooting and issues you may encounter
