4-H Garden-to-Table at the East Meadow Farm
Mondays, August 2nd through August 23rd
4:00 - 5:30pm
Join Chef Tiffany, Community Nutrition Educator, at the East Meadow Farm in learning how to create garden-to-table meals. In this four class series we will focus on using seasonal produce while learning simple knife skills and numerous cooking methods. At the end of the program each student will participate in a Chopped like competition crowning someone the Garden-to-Table Chopped Champion!
This program is available for youth ages 8 - 14.
Program Details:
This program will be an indoor/outdoor program at the East Meadow Farm. All participants must be pre-registered to accommodate social distancing requirements and must wear a face covering throughout the program. Parents and siblings are welcome to utilize our outdoor spaces during the program, but we kindly ask that only participants enter the building during the program.
The program will begin at 4:00pm and will end at 5:30pm
Cost: The cost of this program is $75 per participant.
