If you have been thinking about adding a new crop to your farm, join us at the Siuslaw Model Forest Shiitake laying yard to learn about managing shiitakes and other mushrooms as a crop. This is a hands on workshop to experience soaking, fruiting and harvesting Shiitakes, and build a mushroom yard. Participants will gain an understanding of how to profit from this new crop. Dress appropriately for the weather, include tick protection and water. Prepayment is requested.
