Farm and Food Safety Regulations- Updates and info

Thank you for registering for the Farm and Food Safety Regulations- Updates and information session.April 18th 6pm-8pm- Join us at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County in the OFA (Office for the Aging) Café. The purpose of this workshop is to provide farmers and food producers an overview of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Handling Practices (GHP) and Harmonized GAP (HGAP). What are the Benefits to Food Safety Certification? Is your Farm Exempt? What are the key requirements and compliance dates? Stephanie Mehlenbacher, Horticulture Educator, of Cornell Cooperative Extension in Steuben County will be discussing all of these topics and answering your questions.
