Are you prepared if an emergency happens on your farm? Could you benefit from a better understanding of what emergencies and disasters your farm is vulnerable to? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County is hosting a Farm Disaster Preparation Certificate Course for farmers and their employees this month.
From participating in this one-day workshop you will: • Learn what to invest in for disaster preparation that will provide positive returns to the farm, even if a disaster does not occur. • Farm managers and employees increase their ability to respond to an emergency to reduce potential losses to the farm. • A better understanding of what emergencies or disasters you are vulnerable to.
