4-H Public presentation serve as an opportunity for 4-H members to teach, entertain and speak to others about a topic they have learned about or have interest in.
This year's Western District public presentations will be VIRTUAL. The Public Presentation Committee and 4-H staff believe these virtual presentations will give 4-Hers extra tools for their future and provide them with skills that can used the rest of their life. This is a temporary change as we navigate the challenges of Covid-19.
There will be two options this year for 4-H members who are participating in Public Presentations.
Evaluators will be needed for both the Live Zoom events and the Video Submissions.
Dates for the live Zoom will be:
Saturday, April 17th -- 10am-3pm
We ask that you choose a 2-3 hour commitment. Morning Session will be 10am-12:00pm Afternoon session will take place 12:30pm-3:00pm
Videos:
If you are interested in being an evaluator for the Video submissions. 4-Hers will be adding their video to a file that the 4-H educator will share with you. You will have a score sheet to evaluate the video and provide comments. For video evaluations a link to a video will be shared with you. Based on Internet bandwidth you may be asked to to download the video.
