Design Your Succession Plan
Farmers and next generation farmers will receive an opportunity to develop and design a succession plan with sessions led by experts across the field. Attendees will learn through scenario-based learning how to relate real-life experiences to the farm transition process. This webinar will utilize a "flipped classroom" which requires attendees to complete pre-work prior to each session. This could include watching videos, visiting websites or completing a handout/worksheet. This pre-work should not take more than 15-20 mins each week, but will enrich your experience during each of the weekly webinars.
Cost for this workshop series for Herkimer County residents is $50, as residents are being supported by the Herkimer County Mental Health Farm Family Assistance Project. Cost for residents outside of Herkimer County is $100 per farm. Please see https://tinyurl.com/z5ujstpw to register for counties other than Herkimer. There is no cost for Veterans.
Registration includes one workbook with worksheets focused on gathering helpful data, financial planning and timelines. Additional workbooks can be purchased at $25 each.
Sessions are from 6:30-8:00 pm
