Cornell Cooperative Extension of Franklin County will be working with Deer River Cranberry Farm to host a Cranberry Harvest Workshop on Monday October 18th. Visitors will get to experience the process from start to finish by learning and observing how the cranberries are harvested, cleaned, packaged, and sold.
We will be having two sessions for people to attend: 9:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm. Please be sure to choose which session you would like to attend.
The Deer River Cranberry Farm is located at 482 Keenan Road, Brasher Falls, NY 13613. They are open 7 days a week from 8:00am-5pm and are selling berries at $0.50 per lb. Please contact Scott Davis at 315-705-5883 to place an order.
