CCE Erie Nov Meeting on Invasives

You have reached the registration page for the  CCE Erie November Master Gardener Meeting on Invasives!  The meeting will be held on November 6th at 6:30 pm in Dard Hunter Hall in the Print Shop on the Roycroft Campus. (21 So. Grove Street; East Aurora NY  14052)

Lucy Nuessle, the WNY PRISM Project Manager will be discussing potential plant invaders (early detection species) to be on the look out for in Western New York,  and give an update on the japanese stiltgrass found in East Aurora, as well as how to ID and report suspicious plants that may be invading.

Sharon Bachman, CCE Erie Agriculture and Natural Resource Educator, will provide a brief overview of an invasive earthworm (Amynthas spp.) referred to as the Jumping Worm  or crazy snakeworm which is quickly edging closer to WNY gardens.
