Best Blueberry Year Ever! Lots of home growers struggle with blueberries, but once you unlock their secrets, you'll get bountiful harvests. Join Cornell Small Fruits Specialist Anya Osatuke who will guide you through making sure your blueberries get the late winter pruning they need for summer production.
For this IN-PERSON WORKSHOP -Bring your own pruners, if you have some -There will be some walking on rough terrain -Please dress for the weather -The program will continue in light rain/snow, but may be cancelled if weather seems heavy or hazardous.

Anya Osatuke is the Western New York Small Fruits Extension Specialist working with Harvest New York and the New York State Berry Growers Association. For her Masters degree, Anya researched strawberries with Dr. Marvin Pritts at Cornell University. Anya grew up gardening and foraging and loves to discuss native and invasive edibles in the landscape.
Class size is limited to 30 participants. There is a sliding scale fee of $15-$40, for this class. Due to class size we are able to offer 3 scholarships. Please contact Maria at mjc72@cornell.edu to claim a scholarship spot.
