Thank you for your interest in our workshop, Growing & Marketing Cut Flowers! This workshop is part of a beginning farmer workshop series and takes place October 25 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension Ontario County's offices at 480 N Main St., Canandaigua, NY. Cost to attend is $25 per person or $80 for the whole series. Speakers include Nellie Gardner of Flower Fields, and Dana Dore-Hadad of Chicory Blue Gardens, who together have over 40 years of cut flower experience! This workshop will cover:
- Best production management practices, cultivar selection, and post-harvest handling for cut flowers in NY
- Marketing strategies and potential markets for selling cut flowers
