Saturday, May 11, 2019 9:00am–12:30pm
AVID is a method to collect data on deer impacts.
Participants will learn how to ID important spring wildflowers and local trees and recognize evidence of deer impacts. Participants are asked to re-visit their study plots annually to collect ongoing data. Study plots can be on private or public land. The workshop will include a one hour indoor segment and two hours outdoors and will be held rain or shine. This workshop is sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland County and will be led by trainers from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties
Free Workshop but space limited and advance registration required.
The session begins at our building and ends with a field excursion to Cheesecote Lake.
