AG Awareness Day for Onondaga County Farmers!

All farmers are invited! Multiple Agriculture Agencies in Onondaga County and Community Partners will share information on their programs, resources, and services. All farmers, beginning farmers, underserved farmers, women farmers, and non-traditional farmers are invited! The information provided during this multi-agricultural agency event will help Onondaga farmers learn about and access the resources available to help them with their farm operations. The event, including lunch, is Free. We ask participants to register so we have an accurate lunch count with any dietary restriction information and requests for language translation services.
The Ag Agencies collaborating and making formal presentations include:
CCE Onondaga, Farm Services Agency, NRCS, Soil & Water, Farm Bureau, and Cornell Small Farms. Community partner, Syracuse Onondaga Food Systems Alliance (SOFSA), will also be presenting.
In addition to the formal presentations listed above, tables will be set up with information about agricultural services and support from:
Onondaga County AG Council, Onondaga County Farmland Protection, Farm Credit, Cornell Small Farms, Crop Growers, OCRA, NYCAMH, NYALT, NYFarmNet, NY Farm Viability, NOFA, DEC, Ag & Markets, SCORE , Small Business Development @ OCC, WISE Women's Business Development, Salt City Harvest Farm & RISE.
