4-H Beach Sweep is a beach cleanup program held at Lakeview Wildlife Management Area. In addition to working on beach cleanup, this event will also include a nature hike to the beach and a presentation about plastic pollution and its impacts on aquatic ecosystems. Please be aware that the hike to the beach involves around a mile of walking. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, a pair of gloves, and sunscreen. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
