4-H Camp Bristol Hills Adventure Program Training

Adventure Training
4-H Camp Bristol Hills Staff

We will be hosting our annual Adventure (Ropes Course) Staff training June 17-19 at 4-H Camp Bristol Hills. The training is OPTIONAL, and is available to all staff at no charge.

Training will commence at 7pm on June 17 and will continue until 4pm on June 19th.  All participants are expected to remain at camp for the duration of the training, regardless of whether they have attended training in the past or not.  If you need to leave camp for any reason during the training, please contact Jim Hooper (jah249@cornell.edu) to discuss the missed time.

Camp will provide meals and lodging for the training.  If you have specific dietary needs, please be sure to describe your needs on the registration form.  Food will be purchased 3 days before the training, so anyone registering after that time, with special dietary needs, will need to bring their own food for the weekend.

Watch the weather forecast before coming to camp.  We will be outside for significant portions of the weekend, rain or shine.  Please plan to dress accordingly.  Bring close toed shoes, long pants for climbing. Bring bug spray, sun screen, personal medications, etc.  There will not be a nurse on site, and staff will be expected to keep their own medications secured.
